    IFLAI at the EIC Scaling Club HealthTech Investment Day

    On 24 September 2026, IFLAI took part in the EIC Scaling Club HealthTech Investment Day at AstraZeneca's R&D site in Mölndal, Gothenburg. Co-hosted by AstraZeneca BioVentureHub and Medtronic, the event brought together European HealthTech and biotech companies, investors and industry experts for a day of pitches, matchmaking and exchange.

    For IFLAI, the Partnering for Health Innovation roadshow was an opportunity to represent our company on stage and connect with the people helping European life science businesses grow.

    Sharing IFLAI's story on stage

    Our CTO and co-founder, Henrik Klein Moberg, joined Annbjørg Falck, CEO of NaDeNo Nanoscience, for the AstraZeneca BioVentureHub & Company Stories panel. The session was moderated by Robert Roth, Science Director at AstraZeneca BioVentureHub.

    The session brought company perspectives into the day's programme. As a company based at BioVentureHub, IFLAI develops AI close to the researchers and industry teams who can put it to use. The event connected that local setting with a wider European audience of companies, investors and potential partners.

    We were proud to represent IFLAI as a company building world-leading AI for cell analysis. Our published cell imaging results place us among the leaders in recovering biological relationships from cell images. The day was a chance to introduce the company behind that work and our ambition to bring it to a wider market.

    Meeting the wider HealthTech community

    The event's pitches and matchmaking brought European HealthTech and biotech companies together with investors and industry experts. It created space to hear other company stories, understand different priorities and explore where there could be common ground.

    The conversations between sessions were part of that opportunity too. Bringing founders, industry experts and investors into the same room makes it easier to connect a company's capabilities with the needs and experience of others.

    A familiar setting, a wider network

    AstraZeneca BioVentureHub was a familiar setting for IFLAI. The EIC Scaling Club brought a wider European community to the site, connecting local company experience with an international discussion about investment, partnerships and growth.

    IFLAI is based in Gothenburg, and our ambition is international. Taking part in a day like this means putting both our technical achievements and the company behind them in front of people who can help shape the next stage.
